Dear Bill KD2HIQ,,
As long as Rosendo N5YBG agrees, I think letting members know about this is a good idea. SARC itself has not done donations in the past. With COVID-19, my personal stance is that we need to conserve cash at SARC. While our hard (rent, insurance, and trailer registration) expenses are not real big, I don’t have a crystal ball on when normal may return. I am personally astounded by how fast vaccines are being developed. I remember how long it took for the Salk vaccine for polio to be developed. I am hopeful that normal will be back before the end of 2021. All non-profits are going to feel a pinch as individuals and companies have to tighten their belts.
