moderated no-cost COVID-19 vaccine clinic

The City of San Antonio will host a no-cost COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Alamodome starting on Monday, January 11. There will be in-person and drive-thru options available for the public at this location. At this time per state guidelines, only people who fall under Phases 1A and 1B will be able to receive the vaccine at the Alamodome. 

Appointments are required and can be made by visiting covid19.sanantonio.gov/vaccine or by calling 311 and selecting option 8.
 
Phase 1A populations include frontline healthcare workers and residents at long-term care facilities.

Phase 1B includes people over 65 or people 16 or older with a chronic medical condition that puts them at increased risk for severe illness from COVID‑19 are currently eligible to receive the COVID‑19 vaccine.

These are the only populations eligible to be vaccinated at this time.


At this time, the Alamodome location will be able to provide approximately 1,500 vaccines per day and will do so until further notice.

Registration will open this Saturday, January 9. Residents must make an appointment by calling 311 and selecting option 8 or visiting https://covid19.sanantonio.gov/Vaccine.

Walk-ins will not be accepted.
