Bill, If you have the file, email it to me. I'll take it to the store and see if I can print it. Jeff On Sun, Nov 27, 2022 at 11:47 AM Bill Craft <billc851@...> wrote: Thanks, Ken |

Bill,
Just got back into town. I can also look at it. I can do PETG as well as PLA.

Hi Bill,
I'd be willing to take a stab at it, if you're OK with PLA material. BTW 3D printing is a great side hobby for hams. Gary KI5GRD. |

I tried both resources and they do not have gear. I did find a youtube video about repairing the controller. Guy made a 3d printed gear, I emailed him about making gear for me. Awaiting reply. I do have 3d printer file for gear on tinker(autodesk) So marker space maybe last option. Chanel Master made an all-electronic version cm-9537 maybe an alternative. |

Bill, Before you go to too much expense and difficulty replacing the Channel Master gear, I suggest you first check with Norm’s Rotor Service to see if he has the part(s) you need. (He’s a friend I knew in Maryland before I moved to Texas.) He has a great operation there for rotor maintenance. http://www.normsrotorservice.com/ His, and another rotor repair facility are mentioned at the end of this article about rotators: If all else fails, considering consider checking out the 10Bitworks Makerspace facility in San Antonio. They have at least a half a dozen 3-D printers, if you’re willing to invest the time and energy to learn how to use them. Ken Nichols (m)301-717-4571 ken.nichols.kd3vk@...
