WILLIAM (BILL "WX5W") JEWELL RONEY II

Bill’s family is hoping for a large Amateur Radio turn out, since ham radio was such a HUGE part of Bill’s life and who Bill was. 

 

Everyone who knew Bill loved Bill. He was a fixture in San Antonio Amateur Radio for decades and his friendly, happy personality won him Mr. Congeniality 6 years in a row.

 

Bill was an awesome guy, and he will be highly missed both not only in Amateur Radio, but in all aspects of life.

 

Unfortunately, Bill WX5W became a silent key two weeks ago, his family is celebrating his life and have reserved an entire restaurant for his friends and family to come and help celebrate Bill.

 

We are inviting everyone who knew Bill WX5W to come and help us celebrate and remember WX5W.

 

PLEASE PUT THIS ON YOUR CALENDAR AND COME VISIT WITH YOUR FRIENDS, AND HELP EVERYONE REMEMBER BILL AND THE GREAT GUY HE WAS.

 

Good afternoon,

 

This Sunday July 28th from 2 to 4 PM at the Molino Rojo Restaurant located at 13302 Nacodogches. The entire facility has been rented for the afternoon to celebrate Bill WX5W.

 

I have been asked to extend invitations to everyone who knew Bill and called him a friend.

 

I hope that you can please come join us to celebrate not only an awesome individual, but a GREAT Amateur Radio Operator and an extremely dear friend.

 

 

This coming Sunday at 2:pm at Molino Rojo at 13302 Nacodogches Rd.

Bill, I miss you, and always loved talking with you in person are on the radio. You helped me during 10-10 contexts and the DX Amigos and so many other times.

Though Ham Radio has changed, I will always and forever remember you, with a warm and loving heart.

Bill , was truly, a steadfast man with a remarkable personality whose every moment, I had with him, and others had will always be cherish.

I will, be there to celebrate WX5W my friend and brothers life.

So mote it be.
