I also agree a County by County repeater list should be compiled. Would also be nice to know just how far the coverage range could conceivably go.

Re: SARC Repeater Listings in the ARRL Repeater Directory
Current TX VHF/FM repeater directory says both repeaters use callsign W5SC
and list SARC as sponsor. no tone listed, status "open repeater". This is the info forwarded to ARRL each year, so I would suppose it has the same info as TX VHF/FM. Note I didn't use the word "assume". :) No other repeaters in their directory have W5SC or SARC listed in association with them. I also have a repeater directory page on www.sanantoniohams.org web site. New Repeater Directory @ SAHams.org
I've been working on a local repeater directory for everything from 6
meters thru 1.2ghz. Direct web site link is http://www.sanantoniohams.org/nets/repeaters.htm I'd appreciate any input / corrections / additions, etc. from those who know more about repeaters than I do. I've also contacted the Zone 4 Texas VHF-FM Society Coordinator, Michael Lay, N5PTN, for his input. I've also converted the site to a "Winter Theme" as you will see, plus added some new gimmicks to the front page (live clock above the news clip summary column) and pop-up explanation regarding most of the links on the site. (not pop-up separate windows, you'll see it if you move mouse over any link). Comments and feedback on changes are welcomed as well. Feel free to pass this along to anyone else who might not belong to one of the above groups. Happy Holidays to the San Antonio Ham Community. See many of you at AARO's party on December 2nd or at one of the upcoming events during the next month or two. _________________________________________ 73 de N5NTG Lee W. Re: New to group
Welcome to San Antonio, even if you have been here a year already. :)
If you haven't already found this web site, please check out www.SanAntonioHams.org for information about the San Antonio Amateur Radio community. If you ever need anything to do in your "spare" time, we've got lots of activities happening year around where Hams are needed to assist. Those volunteer opportunities are always listed and updated at that web site first. I'm sure you found this club's web site already, www.w5sc.org or www.sanantonioradioclub.org. Other club/groups in the area, include www.sarepeater.net (SARO), www.w5ros.org (ROOST), www.aa5ro.org (AARO), www.HillCountryREACT.org (REACT) and www.BexarCountyARES.org (ARES).
