Or even better, a subdivision that doesn't have HOA. Why someone wants to pay a bunch of people to tell them what they can and can't do with their house is WAY beyond me. If I'm paying the mortgage, (which I am) no one has the right to tell me jack crap about my house or what I do with it. Dave, I advise you to check the HOA restrictions on anywhere you look. I am in a restrictive HOA but have been lucky so far. I have EFHW wire up, pretty unobtrusive and no one complained yet. San Antonio covers a LOT of area. I live in Schertz just NE of the city. Personally, if I were to do it again I’d stay North to NE of the city and look for less sparsely populated plots. 73, BOB/AI5CA

If you want something local, I have a KiwiSDR setup at http://home.jeffreyrandow.org:8075 that is 300-30kHz. What’s nice about the Kiwis is that there are lots of them around the world that you can use to listen in. Also good for checking out your signal. 😊
