I can explain how a ham winds up in a HOA.

My wife looked at and liked Mainland Square. I pointed out it had an HOA and I did not like HOA's. So we voted. She voted to buy, I voted no, and she voted to buy. Yes I was outvoted 2 to 1. I KNOW IF MAMA ISN'T HAPPY - NO ONE IS HAPPY.. My vhf/uhf is in the attic. My hf is an inverted "L" with a bird house on top of each support pole. Ideal - no, acceptable - yes AND MAMA IS HAPPY. That is what is important - Mama is happy. HOA. Why someone wants to pay a bunch of people to tell them what
they can and can't do with their house is WAY beyond me.
If I'm paying the mortgage, (which I am) no one has
the right to tell me jack crap about my house or what I do with it.
Just my .02¢
(.04¢ with inflation as another ham put it)
